A Bow Quilt

So, recently my spinsterhood has focused heavily on quilting. So far, i've been working on some pretty basic designs, but as I worked, I started thinking about how I used to CAD intarsia for sweaters and cold weather accessories. Why couldn't I do the same thing to design quilts?

So, yesterday, I did a little messing around to see if I could make a quilt design that I'd actually like to make. The result is the above bow quilt idea.

Now, there are wayyyy more squares in this quilt that I'd actually want to cut out and stitch together, but I do like the final product. I think it could be very cute in a little girl's room. I'm going to pin it and see what pinterest thinks. I have a new quilt board that I like very much.
